The easiest and most straightforward method to unlock a file is by right clicking on a file in the Virtual File System and select “Unlock”. Any file that you unlock will be removed from Filelocker and placed into the selected directory in the Actual File System. Once this operation is complete this file will be visible to other users on your computer.
Notice the before and after pictures below, the file “movie-file.avi” is unlocked into “C:\temp”, because this is the directory selected in the Actual File System.

Other methods that can be used to unlock files include drag
and drop, selecting the “Unlock” item in the File menu or by clicking
on the 
icon in
the toolbar. All of these are
