“Locking” and “Unlocking” can be done with a simple drag and drop operation. Dragging files located in the Virtual File System into the Actual File System unlocks those files and likewise going from the Actual File System to the Virtual File System locks them. This feature makes locking and unlocking very simple, however, this ease of use also makes locking undesired files very easy as well. Use caution when locking and unlocking files with drag and drop.
Important note: When dragging files to and from different locations within Filelocker, you must hold down the Ctrl-key in order to select multiple files for the drag operation. Once the files have been selected and the drag operation begins you may release the Ctrl-key to complete the operation.
Select the files in the Actual File System and drag the files into the Virtual File System. You can drop these files into the File View or onto a Virtual Directory. Notice the pictures below:

Both operations cause the two files to become locked into the “SampleUser\music files\misc” Virtual Directory.
Select the files in the Virtual File System and drag the files into the Actual File System. You can drop these files into the File View or onto a Virtual Directory. Notice the pictures below:

Both operations cause the two files to become unlocked into the “C:\temp” directory.
